Silver scent bottle in a maroon velvet box. Scent bottle has a twisted spiral design and is gilded. Engraved intertwined EC on the lid. Hinge perfect. No visible damage to the exterior.
Stamped on the base SM for Samson Mordan. There is a Victorian diamond lozenge which is double stamped so difficult to read. Silver marked for London with Victoria head dated 1882. The lid interior is also stamped SM and dated.
The maroon velvet box has some slight rubbing to the corners. Inside silk and cream velvet with some discolouration to the velvet.
The glass top is stuck and there is damage to one side of the glass knob.
