Of curved rectangular form, the plain exterior with a double front opening to reveal a scene of Leda and the Swan within a lily pond. There is a push-button release and gilt interior. Pforzheim with import marks for Chester 1911 by George Dresden

Gilding to the inside is strong, silver marks are clear, the two lids shut securely, enamel is well preserved. There is a small gouge on the outside of the front on the lower edge
