Edwardian Britannia standard silver butt marker, London 1902 by Cornelius Saunders & James Shepherd, rare.
Rounded rectangular case with a hinged lid topped with a suspension loop. The front is engraved with a crest of a demi-lion rampant, holding between the paws a fleur-de-lis. The interior has eight markers each incised with blackened numerals 1 through to 8. Fully marked to the base bezel and part-marked to the interior of the lid. Could be used for a variety of games where numbers are needed.
