A late 19th century Chinese Export silver novelty miniature pepper pot, modelled as a watering can. There is a drill pierced spout at right angles to the pot with a banded white agate handle. The lid opens by opposing sides moving inwards lid with a flower in the centre. The body of the pepper pot has an engraved decoration of bamboo. Marked underneath with the retailer’s mark and character mark for Hong Kong circa 1890 retailed by Tien Shing.
